Initial Release – Power System Stability and Control Using MATLAB
Power System Stability and Control Using MATLAB – Version 1.0.0
This release includes two major MATLAB/Simulink models demonstrating Power System Stability and Control concepts developed by Prem Manoj Mule under Sanjivani Group of Institutes (April 2025).
Included Models
1️⃣ Transient Stability Analysis of Single Machine Infinite Bus (SMIB)
- Simulates a synchronous generator connected to an infinite bus.
- Performs transient stability and dynamic response analysis.
- Visualizes rotor angle, speed deviation, and power flow during disturbances.
- 📎 MATLAB Central Link
2️⃣ Three-Area Load Frequency Control (LFC) with Integral Control
- Models a three-area interconnected power system.
- Uses integral control to minimize steady-state frequency error.
- Demonstrates tie-line power flow and inter-area coordination.
- 📎 MATLAB Central Link
System Requirements
- MATLAB R2023a or later
- Simulink
- Control System Toolbox
- (Optional) Signal Processing Toolbox
