hey can someone plz help me..im not able to deploy my 01-deploy-raffle.js

@yingang2 : Your deploy script is perfectly fine :

• I'm giving you another package.json dependencies, Copy & Paste these in your current package.json and remove your old one's!

• Then delete your node_modules folder from your directory.

• Then open you terminal run the command yarn or (npm equivalent) to install the new dependencies.

After that run yarn hardhat deploy

@yingang2, it seems your issue is solved by another answer which is great, but it doesn't mentioned the cause of the error and proper way to solve the issue. so I write this answer.

• You are getting this error because ethers.getContract() does not exists in the @nomiclabs/hardhat-ethers plugin, for using ethers.getContract() you will need hardhat-deploy-ethers plugin which is a fork of @nomiclabs/hardhat-ethers with additional functionalities. Reference for hardhat-deploy-ethers plugin

• Since one of your other plugin might have hard-coded dependency on @nomiclabs/hardhat-ethers, it will still use @nomiclabs/hardhat-ethers even if you installed hardhat-deploy-ethers. So you need to install hardhat-deploy-ethers under @nomiclabs/hardhat-ethers alias.

yarn add --dev @nomiclabs/hardhat-ethers@npm:hardhat-deploy-ethers

This will fix your issue, and you can run ethers.getContract()

• Another way to solve your issue is by using ethers.getContractAt() instead of ethers.getContract() to get contract instance.

@byte14 : Yes, and some what common sense! That is why, I gave him the new dependencies , so that he can see which dependencies were missing!

Well, I thought it was important to know the cause of the issue before fixing it and OP clearly have no clue what's the cause, so I wrote it and I also wanted to gave an alternative way as well if someone other read this.

we just have to change the following part from
vrfCoordinatorV2Address = vrfCoordinatorV2Mock.address;
to
vrfCoordinatorV2Address = coordinatorV2.address;
