Description:

Adds a Tugbot warehouse simulation example using Ignition Gazebo (Fortress) to demonstrate robot control via ROS-MCP

Key Points:

Uses simulation environment (.sdf) and .launch files.

All the project dependencies are inside the pyproject.toml to easily sync with the venv for the specific example

Added README.md with setup instructions.

Tested on:

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
  • ROS Distro: ROS 2 Humble
  • Simulator: Ignition Gazebo Fortress
  • Python Manager: uv
