Reproduction steps

I have the AUR version installed on EndeavourOS (arch based, cinnamon desktop, x11, Tela-circle-yellow-dark [GTK2/3/4] icons)

The app icon for the alt tab menu and panel are missing (replaced with just the default generic app icon.
Panel icon works as intended.

Expected Behavior

App icon should appear as it did since before the rebrand to pear-desktop (v3.10.0 I think)

Actual Behavior

Icon is missing

Enabled plugins

I really don't think this applies here.

there are many AUR packages, can you narrow it down?

hint: pacman -Qq | grep pear

also, the rebrand has still not released, so 3.11.0 is still using the old name, so if you have the rebrand, then you built from source

Had the same issue (using gnome). The app was appearing as "com.github.th_ch.youtube_music".
Fixed by changing one line in /usr/share/applications/pear-desktop.desktop:
StartupWMClass=com.github.th_ch.pear_music -> StartupWMClass=com.github.th_ch.youtube_music
