This pull request contains a backport of commit c9cbd31f from the openjdk/jdk repository.

The commit being backported was authored by David Briemann on 15 Oct 2025 and was reviewed by Martin Doerr and Richard Reingruber.

A merge conflict was resolved, that was created by renaming files: JDK-8367486

Second commit resolves another renaming issue caused by JDK-8367014.

Otherwise the backport is clean.
