remove periodic rebuilds of images (#329)

# Summary

- removal of periodic rebuilds, as we won't use periodic anymore
starting the next release MCK 1.3.0. This is because atomic releases are
not going to use them.

## Proof of Work

- removal of variant won't trigger anything
- manually trigger all periodic file variants:
