Comments fail to re-expand after collapse in outdated/specific-commit-version files #8101

Description

@catskul

Attempting to expand/uncollapse comment after collapsing does not appear to work when viewing outdated or specific version of a file in a PR.

Versions in question:

  • Extension version: github.vscode-pull-request-github 0.121.2025110514
  • VSCode Version: 1.106.0-insider (Universal) 18d828e5d596e56b516fac7baa53e4b32cf087be
  • OS: Darwin arm64 24.6.0- Repository Clone Configuration (single repository/fork of an upstream repository):

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Click on comment in comment panel to open (outdated) file and related comment.
  2. Collapse comment with either - or v.
  3. Click on comment icon in gutter in attempt to re-expand comment.
  4. Be disappointed that it doesn't do anything.
  5. Go back to comment panel to re-open the comment from there because that's the only thing that appears to work.
