"Create New" button missing on lens

I've created two lenses for a resource, each lens just filters the recourse on one column.

Is there a way to have the "Create New" button still show on the lens page? Or is there a way to add a button in to carry out the same function?

I think I understand why the button isn't there by default as the underlying query wouldn't know which resource to create a button for, if the query is joining multiple tables.
