Don't use the system proxy, so we can be the system proxy

Unclear, but this might cause issues on systems where some other
proxy is required. Right now that's not supported for the forwarded
traffic though, so those cases don't fully work anyway. It would be
nice to extend to chain proxies later, but for now no.
