Looking for New Maintainers

For nearly three years, due to lack of time and involvement in other projects, I haven't been able to focus on my open-source projects or release any updates.
I apologize for not responding to your questions and PRs.

If you'd like to bring new life to this package as a maintainer, please submit your request in this issue.

Requirements:

1. You have previously used this package and are familiar with most of its features.

2. You know JavaScript as if it were your native language.

3. Familiarity with Docusaurus for updating the project documentation:
   https://hossein-zare.github.io/react-native-dropdown-picker-website

4. Familiarity with TypeScript for updating index.d.ts

5. Ability to test the project on Android and iOS

6. Sufficient experience

7. Enough time to respond to questions and issues

Additional requirements may be added later.
There is currently no deadline for submitting your requests.

Hi Hossien! I would be interested.

1. You have previously used this package and are familiar with most of its features.

• I am currently using this package in a expo + fast api stack I'm working on (https://github.com/imdevan/pypo)
• I also updated the examples in my fork to try to holistically capture all variations of the dropdown-picker (https://github.com/imdevan/react-native-dropdown-picker/blob/main/examples/App.tsx)

2. You know JavaScript as if it were your native language.

• Yep. like 9 years in

3. Familiarity with Docusaurus for updating the project documentation:
   hossein-zare.github.io/react-native-dropdown-picker-website

• I've used similar engines like Gatsby pretty extensively, just read over the code base and it looks pretty straightforward, although it would be nice to have something a little more dynamic or a way to see the dropdown-picker in action in the docs...

4. Familiarity with TypeScript for updating index.d.ts

• Yep. I thought about rewriting the whole package into ts, and have a branch where I'm actively working on doing that, but not sure if there is a reason the project is written in js specifically?

5. Ability to test the project on Android and iOS

• Yes. iOS I can test physically and android I can test on emulator

6. Sufficient experience

• Sure?

7. Enough time to respond to questions and issues

• Yes. I put together this pr v5.5.2 #786
