From 9536fd23bb56978b10b7a43afd86d9a4552a4c27 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Will Thompson Date: Tue, 21 Oct 2025 09:29:38 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] Remove obsolete paragraph about Linux power-saving inhibition Since https://github.com/godotengine/godot/pull/108704, the sentence about Flatpak is fully obsolete: 1. All standard Flatpak runtimes contain libdbus; 2. With the addition of support for the XDG Inhibit portal, Godot is able to inhibit idle without any sandboxing adjustments. More generally, I don't think we need to mention that D-Bus is required to inhibit idle, even outside Flatpak: practically speaking, all desktop Linux systems have had libdbus available for 20+ years. Remove the whole paragraph. --- tutorials/inputs/controllers_gamepads_joysticks.rst | 4 ---- 1 file changed, 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/tutorials/inputs/controllers_gamepads_joysticks.rst b/tutorials/inputs/controllers_gamepads_joysticks.rst index 651cbdf654f..5df7a6a80e1 100644 --- a/tutorials/inputs/controllers_gamepads_joysticks.rst +++ b/tutorials/inputs/controllers_gamepads_joysticks.rst @@ -280,10 +280,6 @@ is running.
