Invalid defaults indicated in docs

Not correct in docs at least for version 2.1.2:

• abbrev is by default 0 instead of 7
• verbose is by default false instead of true
• always is by default false instead of true

Definitely need to somehow automate the README generation to avoid such problems in the future hmm...

@ktoso : Abbrev default still says 7 instead of 0. I thought describe output was just broken (was only getting e.g. "v0.9-DEV") until I turned on verbose and saw "[info] --abbrev = 0" go by. Explicitly set it to 7 and my describe output is now as expected (e.g. "v0.9-2-gabcddc2-DEV"). :)

(edit: hope you don't mind I actually searched for issues reporting the abbrev doc problem, found this, and updated it, rather than filing a new issue...)

With 2.1.4, I'm seeing the same as commented above. Abbrev default in README is saying 7, but when run, it's 0.

Had the same issue; I think the problem is that the GitDescribeConfig initialized in GitCommitIdMojo.java#L165 is not being initialized by plexus. Maybe this would fix it?

I have fixed this by manually creating this config object.
