Cursor repeatedly jumps to the start-of-line in the regex input field

Using Chrome 131 on OSX. It's difficult to use ihateregex.io at all because the cursor position keeps returning to the start-of-line in the regex input field. I can arrow over and have just enough time to enter one or two characters before it jumps back to the start again.
