How to port forward a port using a docker image of Ubuntu running macOS-Simple-KVM on it?

I tried setting up a bridge connection between the macOS VM and the Ubuntu container using [this guide](https://github.com/foxlet/macOS-Simple-KVM/blob/master/docs/guide-networking.md) but I can't seem to setup a bridge.

I usually get this error message ```qemu-system-x86_64: could not configure /dev/net/tun (eth0): Invalid argument```
