Type of issue

Missing information

Description

  • In the opening sentence, link to the updated language reference, where this change is defined (or the What's new article).
  • "user defined" should be "user-defined"
  • Visual Studio 2026 should refer to "Insiders"
  • Address the design decision for mutability vs. immutability in more depth.
  • Clarify that prefix and postfix ++ and -- dont' need multiple declarations because the compiler creates the correct lowering for the correct return value.
  • Clarify that the first example demonstrates the compiler expansion without user defined operators.
  • Consider a bit more of the step-by-step version of walking through the tutorial.
    • Highlight the steps and especially the result. And remove the "install prerequisites"
  • Look for "see" and inclusive language for the vision impaired
