How to Install

1. Save the file as Un-Precompose.jsx

2. Copy the file to one of these folders: Windows:

   C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects [version]\Support Files\Scripts Mac: /Applications/Adobe After Effects [version]/Scripts/

3. Restart After Effects

How to Use

1. Open the composition containing the precomposition
2. Select the precomp layer(s) you want to extract
3. Go to File > Scripts > Un-Precompose.jsx
4. The layers will be extracted automatically!

Tip: You can assign a keyboard shortcut using After Effects' Keyboard Shortcuts panel. The script also handles complex cases like layers with separated positions (X/Y separated) and correctly applies all transformations from the precomp to the extracted layers!
