Compatibility with ActiveRecord 7 #27

Hi there,
this adapter is far behind the current version of ActiveRecord, and we would like to catch up by providing corresponding support for ActiveRecord 7.
GH-10 told us about Rails 5.0, and GH-26, GH-20, and GH-16 attempted to exercise corresponding step-by-step upgrades. I think the main reason why we did not make any progress is some flaw in the adjustments to upgrade to ActiveRecord 4.2 (GH-26), which @hammerhead and me have not been able to resolve.
We will not need to support previous versions, support for AR7 will be good enough for a start. Because AR6 is still maintained, being compatible to that would be a secondary feature, but not the primary goal.
