Exit animation flashes

When using [data-exiting] animations with RAC, I'm seeing flashes where the animations seem to jump back to their original positions. If I add forwards to my animation declarations, the problem goes away, but none of the examples require forwards for animation-fill-mode.

Anyone else had this experience?
