Standard module is a no-layer module template; it doesn't have multiple layers like the DDD module. The standard module only supports one DB/UI provider. If your module is intended to be used in a variety of layered projects, you can choose the DDD module. |

Standard module is a simple, all-in-one setup, faster to start, fine for small or non-critical features. DDD module splits code into domain, application, and infrastructure, giving better boundaries, testability, and scaling. If it’s a real business subdomain with well defined boundaries you’ll grow and maintain, pick DDD. Otherwise, standard is enough. |
