Sloeber 4.4.3 has developed a problem overnight

I was using 4.4.3 yesterday without major problems, today when it started it said "finishing the installation" for ages although there seemed to be no activity, so I left it and when I returned there was an error:

I tried running an update but that failed too. I'll attach the relevant .log

(I noticed the Arduino plugin is causing a similar problem in my Eclipse CDT installation.)

It is a arduino site issue made worse by Sloeber behavior.
There is a issue here: #1731
