Update OSITrace

Describe the feature

• Update osi_trace to be used in other modules, mainly osi-validation
  (see Re-use script from OSI repo osi-validation#55)

Describe the backwards compatibility

The general usage of OSITrace shall remain the same to ensure backwards compatibility.
