Description
⚠️ Apology & ContextHey everyone — I sincerely apologize if this post feels off-topic or promotional. That’s not my intention.
This is a desperate but genuine attempt to bring visibility to a project we believe can make a real difference.
We’re a small, decentralized research group trying to merge blockchain transparency with neuroscience and AI to fight epilepsy. If this isn’t the right place for it, I completely understand — but if you resonate with what we’re building, even a small amount of visibility, feedback, or support means the world to us. 🙏
Cortex Lab – Neural Innovation Research
Cortex Lab DAO is pioneering breakthrough therapies for epilepsy through neural stem cell research and predictive AI.
Our mission is to understand how stem cells can repair damaged brain regions and sustainably reduce seizures over time.
Alongside our research, we are developing Aurevia — intelligent wearable glasses that continuously monitor brainwave activity.
Aurevia’s onboard AI can predict seizures up to 15 minutes before onset, giving individuals living with epilepsy critical time to prepare and stay safe.
Key Milestones
- Built functional glass prototypes of Aurevia
- Developed and validated a trained seizure prediction model
- Preparing transfer learning for deploying a compact model directly on-device
- Established a waitlist of patients for early-stage clinical trials
- Pursuing non-dilutive SBIR funding to accelerate R&D and regulatory progress
💠 How You Can Help
If you believe in open science, decentralized biotech, or the mission to make predictive neurotech accessible, we invite you to support us:
- 🤝 Contribute or collaborate: Cortex Lab GitHub Repository & Papers
- 💸 Donate to research: Donation Page
- 🧬 Participate in our Crowdsale: Crowdsale Link or direct interaction with contract here
Every bit of support — whether visibility, code contributions, or funding — directly fuels our mission to build ethical, transparent neurotech that could change millions of lives.
