In line 1358 if i remove the without_project_bots part it works but is that really a fix? maybe a new method should be implemented.

Not sure why you're experiencing an error with this currently. It's been part of the API since version 16 or earlier:

Its ii gitlab-ee 18.4.2-ee.0 amd64 GitLab Enterprise Edition (including NGINX, Postgres, Redis) so im a bit woundering why i should be alone

I think this is coming from an upstream PHP component that handles the API requests. I've not used this tool for some months, I'll try this out today.
